Hurricane Sandy may be closing in - Connnecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy ordered the closing of state highways to all vehicles but emergency ones starting at 1 p.m. today, and President Obama signed Rhode Island's emergency declaration this morning, freeing up federal aid for the state's response efforts - but several local businesses are pushing through.
