Current Director of Admission Michael Goldberger will be taking over as Athletic Director start July 1, President Ruth Simmons announced at a press conference this morning.
For the past year, the position has been held by Interim Athletic Director Joan Taylor.
Goldberger said that although he enjoys being admission director - he has been a part of the department for over 20 years - he is excited about the change and looks forward to new challenges. "This is such an exciting day, and it's such a thrill for me," he said.
No replacement for Goldberger as director of admission has been announced.
